If it is a Dendrobium, you need to know the type and where in the world it comes from. Might be a reed stem Epidendrum.

As for plant form, not reliable in saying a plant is an orchid or not!

I’m fairly unlikely to ever get more info from the VBG than appears above, so I’ll trial-and-error them until I’ve killed them.

Nope. (Just “anturio” and “orquidea” are on the receipt.) But, I just managed to find the photo below, so maybe it is an anthurium. Other than the lean, the orchid seems to be doing fine, so I may not pester it too much.

If you google Anthurium roots and look at the images it sort of proves that your plant is an Anthurium, as for the other plant some Dendrobiums have a similar form.

Some Anthuriums have roots that look just like orchid roots. I used to take care of a huge Specimen with beautiful dark leathery leaves at my old job. It had lot's and lot's of fascinating orchid-like roots with green growing tips climbing over the pot and into the air. Your second plant is almost certainly an Epidendrum. My Epidendrum radicans looks just like it except my Epidendrum sprouts countless roots all along the entire length of it's stems and it's leaves are shorter and stiffer.
