I don't know why my post disappeared. I was asking advice whether to use indoor potting soil or outdoor for the planter shown in the link above. Since it will be above ground, I'm thinking indoor as it will hold moisture better than outdoor potting mix, but not sure.

Will it be getting rained on? I can't tell from the photo if the cover is solid or if rain will go through. If rain can get through I would use any good soil but would add a little sand in it to help it drain better, especially during our rainy season. That’s what I do with all my pots to avoid the soil staying too wet.

Have you already purchased the planter?
