Thank you Cynthia, The cuts in the laminate (NOT WOOD) on the bottom of the stool were very rough, and 2 of the 4 stools much rougher than the others. I submitted a photo. The instructions for assembly were not quite adequate in that there was no mention or photo to remove the cap on the end of the pole that fits into the seat. This is needed to make the lever for height adjustment work. I was able to dismantle the seats and force the cap (now stuck inside the pole) out with the use of a punch and hammer. So I have, what we believe is what we ordered, 4 attractive seats, rather inexpensive that we expect finish problems with down the road. For right now we are good. thank you.
