Good morning! It would depend on the room or forte size and the height you wanted to have it above the floor. it comes with 36" of stem., which would make it 60" tall overall. The bottom would be 12' off the floor. This is a repetitively small chandelier at 20" in diameter, with 4 (60w ,max.) bulbs if it is a big space. To get it closer to the floor you would have to order some 12" stems. We can do this, but I have to have HOUZZ add them to the order. They cost 13.88 each. Just let me know how many you want in a email when order . We have this model in a 25" six light and a 28" 8 light too. The 6 light uses a combo of chain and rods to make adding length easier.
