Leaf Drop and Under Watering

I have both a potted key lime and some sort of potted orange tree. Life got busy and when I finally got around to watering them every single key lime leaf had fallen off while the orange looked just fine. The key lime plant itself is still green so my question is, will it put on new growth or is it a lost cause?

Bob, one never knows unless you give it a shot...Now that the roots may be desiccated, be careful not to water too often and keep your tree in a good amount of light...Time will tell..(

As long as the brnches are green, there is hope. Just be very careful with watering. Try to be more consistent and like Mike mentioned, add some lights
