I find one place that "Super Colossal" are 32 or less per pound. Elsewhere I find that red Cerignola are the world largest. So, I assume that Cerignola are 32 or less per pound? But, just how big can olives really get seem to be an elusive question.

So far I have failed to find olives in the world record sites.

Are small cluster or individual berry-type fruits included in such world records?

Well there’s a record for gooseberries so perhaps olives too?

The gooseberry record appears to be from the UK; do other countries compete in this contest?

The problem (or disinterest) for small-fruit records is that unlike pumpkins, cabbages, and fish, the largest fruits/vegetables likely go undocumented or are simply on display at county fairs, with little fanfare.

Perhaps there are Mediterranean regional records for single-olive fruit size.

We found some that had a count of 59 per pound. That is, according to some, grade "mammoth" American or "colossal" world. They were at Walmart.

You do realize they are not edible fresh from the tree. Right.

I did not know they came from a tree. I thought they came from Bentonville.
