They won't store well. Most will be inclined to either dessicate or turn mushy. The best thing you can do - if you can't manage to get any more in the ground - is to pot them up in containers and store in a protected place (like your garage) until it warms up enough in early spring to bring them outside.

I agree with gardengals suggestion, they likely won’t keep but putting the extras in containers and keeping them in a cool basement or garage should work well. I recommend a plastic pot so it doesn’t shatter in the cold :)
