They can get pretty tall in Seattle as well :-)

Nice groupings, I like the varied heights. For purposes of comparison tall for these is 40 ft. or more. With an apartment building in Tacoma, WA once turning out to have one 38 ft. high. As I remember it this was determined about 21 or more years ago - I'd like to see how tall the tree is now, if still present.

Seattle's tallest examples, based on measurements made ~2005 range from 32-33 ft., with the single 33 ft. specimen being near a front door on Lake Washington Blvd. Trees of Seattle lists the location details for this and 17 other windmill palm planting sites in that city - where examples 65 years old were present at the time of publication.
