    Beautiful A's

What is Audrey Wilcox? I have never heard of her and can't imagine why! Gorgeous colors!

Beautiful Ann. I love All American Magic. Does it turn in to a giant?

Thank you Kristine! AAM is about 4-4.5' tall and 2.5' wide. If it were growing in full sun, it might grow taller though. I will be cutting back the tree it's growing under so I might see a bigger/taller plant in 2018.

Yay! Thank you Beth for starting the 2017 photo series! I love all the photos.

Abe Darby in prison and looking washed out from the Arizona sun. Still lovely.

Second year Alec's Red. Good bloom production.

Sorry about the blur on this Alec's Red, but I wanted to show the whole bush.

Love Alec's Red. I have a grandson named Alec why do I not have that Rose yet

I am such a sucker for pink Austins. Some beauties here.

Looking at Autumn's gorgeous richness and see the hybridizer was Coddington. The same name as my 3rd grade teacher.

As a group do pernetianas blow faster? TIA

Gagal, AUDREY WILCOX is a Fryer HT. I got her yrs ago from Pickering. I believe Rogue Valley Roses carries her now in own root form.

Irisgal, yes most of the Pernetianas do blow pretty fast.

Oh Wow!!!! I just found this. I think the alphabet rose threads should have a beeping message sent to each rose member when it starts so that we don't miss it. LOL

    AMAZING!!!!

Beth - how in the world do you have so many "A" roses? (rhetorical question LOL)...

Everyone's roses are sooo gorgeous!!! I find these threads like a gorgeous reference book. Thanks everyone!!

    Here's my Acapella...I'll show a few shots.

The fragrance is superb - marshmallow banana candies.

    Anna de Diesbach

    Art Nouveau

Matt - Art Nouveau is totally unique!!! I can see that Beth either has it or will have it soon after seeing your picture!! I love your Anna de Diesbach too! Such an OGR look to it...is it an OGR?

    Carol

Thanks Carol! I bet Beth probably has Art Nouveau somewhere in her collection. Anna de Diesbach is indeed an OGR (1858), nice looking flowers but it smells like mothballs so I'm glad it's planted far away in the back of the rose bed.

Hah! Nope you guys I do not have ART NOUVEAU. Wouldn't mind having it, but I don't know where to find it.

Beth, I actually got it as a gift from my previous neighbor. She said she purchased it from Long Ago Roses. (Edit: who does not ship to CA, darn!)

Beth - drat! Too bad you can't get it. I sure know the feeling. There are so many roses I can't get here. :)
