I sure don't know a lot about them.looks like flower buds to me ,but if it isn't then its going put up some more branches ,and that be nice to .

I have one to its been in a cold darker room for couple months now .I brought it in to a sunny warm room today see what it dors. Keep us updated on what yours does

I have a partial answer as to what was going on with the nubs. Several of them are flower buds. The 1st bloom opened yesterday. Still not sure about at least one of the others.

That's a nice one, Tyler. Why not wait and see what happens? Probably another flower bud. The growing of flower buds as late as in December on a leafless plant points to Adenium multiflorum. The species always blooms in winter or before leafing out.

Will do, Martin. I’ve had it for just over a year now and happy to see the bloom. It looks like there are 9 more blooms forming in addition to 3 other other red growth points. I’ve learned not to get to excited about forming blooms, though, having seen many drop before opening on other Adenium.

I’m excited to watch the progress on this plant in particular as I had a hard timing finding it.

Oh beautiful! This plant is on my wanted list. I hope you will be able to get seed from your plant later. I'd sure like to locate some but didn't have any luck last year. Where did you find your plant, if you don't mind my asking? I have photographed the ones at the Atlanta Botanical gardens several times but I hadn't managed to talk them into sharing seed with me, alas. ;)

Hi Hyn. Try Arid Lands. That’s where I got mine from. If I recall they had 3 different sizes. Mine is inside in a South facing window where it has been since I brought it indoors in November. I haven’t tried any hand pollination. Maybe I’ll give it a try. Another bloom opened a couple of days ago & it seems to be a bit hotter pink shade than the first.

I am waiting on our closing date on our new home purchase and then hope to move in April. Until we get relocated, no ordering any new plants for me. By summer however... we shall see. ;)

OMG, I found them. And the plants are cheap! I am in love. I may have to rethink my 'no plant buying' before summer ruling. Hmmm. ;)
