The leaves as you can probably see aren’t in great shape either, they’re quite leathery and one of them is very floppy.

Did you try to soak the orchid? Maybe it is dehydrated.

Technically as long as the the fleshy center where the leaves grow from is still green and healthy, it can regrow more roots. When roots are stiff and feel like they'll snap, that's actually a sign that they're still functioning. When they're withered, dry, squishy/flat that's when the roots are dead.

It looks very dry and dehydrated. I would repot.

Where are you located? Is it a humid or dry environment? If I got that plant, I'd take it out of the pot and soak the bark for a day or two. I'd also the roots in a bowl of water for an hour or so. The air roots are looking for moisture in the air because the medium is so dry, I think.

I agree that it looks dehydrated. I would soak it and then repot so some of those roots are covered. I do think it can be saved.

Severely dehydrated but alive. I'd unpot, soak it in a bowl for an hour or so then reorient it in the pot so more of those roots are covered. If you're keeping it in the bark, soak it more often than you had previously. Put it in a warm place and keep the media humid, either by frequent misting or placing a clear bag over the whole plant. When you see new growth, you can back off the extreme care a bit.
