Not white for sure. Can you put your samples near your granite? Look at them in all lights (morning, night, with lights, without) to be sure you get the right color. Did you look at khaki and pearl as well? They all seem to have different undertones that will look different in your lighting and with your floor/counters. Wait, are you keeping the counters?

I vote for white or a bit off white, add something ( white Pillows throw and or vase ) into the next room, this brings the two rooms together. FUN!

That does change things... Since you have white window trim, if you're painting the trim to match anyway, white could work. Pure white can be very stark though, and sometimes has a blue undertone. Try something like BM white dove. I would use one of those online visualizers to see how your Living room fireplace (you're keeping that?) will look with all that white. Good luck!

A warm white kitchen will be fine. I would not attempt to turn the home into a "cool" toned home as that could get very expensive and you might get done just as gray trends out.

I have some pics of white cabinets with stained wood trim if you are thinking of keeping the trim stained.

In that case I prefer the one on the left. I also like Sterling, which is really a taupe color that has been perfect for our Master Bath with white quartz countertop.
