How about a pix? What soil mix is it potted in? How large is the pot? One stem, one bud,,,,what does that mean? How much fertilizer, and how frequently do you fertilize??? What dose do you use.

If the rest of your plants bloom... only Rita is stubborn... get rid of it. It is not that rare - you can find another Rita that will do better for you. Sometimes getting another clone of the same variety is an answer.

Yes they all bloom well, I suddenly realized I have been growing violets for 66 years, today is my anniversary, and one of my neighbors gave me a violet for my first anniversary. Not ready to give up on Rita yet, repotting day will come after the first of the year, I may try that.

No, not in nappies, I was 18 when I got married. One of my grandchildren just had her first baby at 40, they do things differently now. Violets are my winter gardening project, waiting for spring so I can get outside. I need to have one of my grandkids show me how to put pics on here.
