Bed under Windows

We have a small Master Bedroom and the only way we could fit a King bed in it is if the bed was placed under the Windows. How do you control light and what kind of window treatment could be used?

In this particular residence they utilize a motorized black out roller shade to control the lighting through the windows. If there is room one can use a double roller combination of black out and sun shade. There are many manufacturers available for both power and manual roller shades.
