Thank you! I tried this last spring with Ponderosa, Myer and clementine, but they didn't root. But my fall cutting rooted. Maybe it got too hot too fast in the spring?

I have tried many times to root various cuttings and have mostly failed. I can’t find rhyme or reason to when they do take....lol...kind of a crapshoot! I did just manage to root two persian lime cuttings...I think. They are not sprouting yet, but are on the brink of it. I have had most success rooting in ProMix with a heat mat. Then I tent (not close all the way) a zip lock baggie to retain moisture. Others here have more sophisticated systems and probably a higher success rate, but this is what I have for now.

Glad to hear of your success, I sure would have guessed the spring ones had a better chance. Sometimes you just gotta try.

Thank you. I really didn't think it would root. Just stuck it in vermiculite and in a ziplock bag with some Nepenthes pitcher plant cuttings. Stuck the whole thing in the greenhouse and pretty much forgot about it. LOL
