IMO, sun or starburst mirrors are already a dated look, and they aren't especially nursery like. Here's a pretty concept, and you and baby can see your reflections in it.

I browsed Google but couldn't find another mirror that looked that thin and elegant, that is why I asked here to see if I could get lucky ☺
As for the dated look, I have never felt the urge to follow trends and fashion. I think this type of mirror will fit just fine in my room as the airy 'vintage' touch. It will serve as decoration mainly since I will fasten another mirror at ground level for the baby.

Sorry but a mirror anywhere near a child is asking for a disaster , one whack with a toy and you will have broken glass everywhere.I also think mirrors should reflect something worth seeing twice even in a childs room and honestly I think too many people forget they are decorating for a child not the mother at all.

Not "dated" if you like it and/or you're looking for a retro vibe - the sunburst is a classic midcentury thing. Yes, there was a fad for them a while back which has since waned but various versions are still produced, old ones still in antique stores, and people still like them.

I think if a child can safely go into a bathroom or be near a window they can be trusted with a mirror on the wall esp a tiny one like OP has in mind. But then Im not a "pro" so make of it what you will.

Hi, thank you for the advices. I am picking up on Montessori practices and mirrors play a huge part in children's development. I completely agree they have to be well fastened and glass safety is a priority.
However, I do believe that a nursery can be designed for both the baby and the mother while keeping in mind the child's needs and early learning activities, but this is another topic ☺
