How would you decorate this mantle?

There will be cream-colored carpet in front of it rather than polished concrete. Surrounding walls are white, not pink. We're not in love with the mirror, so if you have ideas for covering it, we'd love to read those too.
This is a large mantle. There are three outlets on top of it. How would you decorate it?
