I did order some "Strike" bean seed and will post my results around harvest time.

I haven't grown them myself, but I have a friend who grew them this last season. He swears he'll never grow any other bean. He's an older gentleman with plenty of garden experience. So I suspect he's got good reason when he says this.

No beans yet but I have to admit that these Strike snap plants are triple loaded down with buds right now compared to the Royal Burgundy buds. Should be picking them by next week.

Ok, to summarize, these are pretty good snap beans, they do produce quite well and are tender, stringless, and taste fine as hoped. As of today we have canned and froze enough to get us thru the winter. I will pick what's left and pull up the plants this week to allow the nearby melon vines to have more room to spread out. Strike are keepers and I will plant them next year too.
