I would go with a warmer gray such as Revere Pewter. It will go better with your carpet and couch. Here are some photos. I would would pair it with White Dove for all of your whites. Be sure to have "eggshell" sheen for the walls and "semi-gloss" for cabinets and trim and "flat" for the ceiling. Hope this helps.

Are you sure you want to base an entire painting job based on the color of your current couch?

I was leaning towards revere pewter that’s actually what I have as the sample on the wall right now. I’m not totally basing it on that sofa but it’ll probably be there for a good few years so I have to take into consideration it’s pretty new.

Since this is a play room, have you thought about making a chalk wall?

I think revere pewter is a good choice.

Since you have green carpet, a tan sofa and white built-ins, why are you choosing gray for the walls? Go with a tan/beige.

I’m not sure I can see how gray is going to relate in any way to the tan sectional or teal carpet.

So I went with revere pewter which looks very tan :( not exactly the look I was going for. It so funny because it looks so much more gray in my daughter room. Any suggestion of how to make it looks less tan and more gray? I tried cooler bulbs, and it’s helping a little.

Yes, Revere Pewter is quite tan and I never understand why people consider it a gray really. I'd say live with it for a while, as you may get used to it. If not, then repaint, but not before doing swatches. on the actual wall.
