Depends on what condition the roots are in. I would depot it and check the roots to see if there is sign of any rot that needs to be cut out. Otherwise if you are lucky, there may be no rot and if brought inside, may stay dormant until spring or may begin to leaf back out if you can put it in a bright sunny window. Just be very careful about watering if it's chilly. Better to er on the dry side between waterings.
