My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

finishing PSL

How did you prep and finish the PSLs? did you use a polyurethane? Do you have any recommendations on how to finish the treads?

    My crew absolutely COATED them in wood filler and then sanded them back to smooth. They then coated them in polyurethane. They are perfect if not a little slick when wearing wool socks. A tiny clear tackstrip/grip tape may be a consideration if we were to do this in a public space. Enjoy!
