It is a normal growth process for the oldest leaves to go yellow and die, this is fine as long as they are being replaced by new leaves.

I assume that the 10 orchids are all Phalaenopsis.

The big problem in growing them is the correct amount of watering for your growing conditions.

I have some starting flower spikes and they seem to be showing new leaves,it just kind of confused me when just the one started yellowing and it has the most roots coming through the pot.

I am uncertain about the one with the yellowish new leaf, the others look in good condition. But as I said getting the watering right for your growing conditions (and potting mix) is the difficult bit. That is why I sent you a link that might relate to your part of the world.

The other orchid is a nobile/softcane hybrid type of Dendrobium that is a beginner's orchid here but might be difficult to grow there.

A famous orchid but no one has bothered to pay the Ten English pounds to register Sea Mary as the Grex name.
