Recessed lights over counters without upper cabinets?

We are installing 4” led can lights in our kitchen, and have a long stretch of cabinets (~18 ft) with no uppers, but two large windows.


Do you center these lights over the counters since there are no uppers?


we are planning on centering the other lights over the counters with upper cabinets on the edge of the counter. Just wondering if we should do something differently on the counters with no uppers.
