If you put it horizontally on the wall to the left of the hutch, it will reflect the light and view from your windows.

It's a tight squeeze where it is now, and looks odd being higher than your curtain panels, which I'd recommend you lengthen and put higher and wider, giving you more from your windows but even less room for your special find.

I think the mirror is a little over-sized but you can definitely make it work. The curtain rods need to be raised to be level with the top of the mirror. This will create a strong horizontal line, make your windows seem larger, and give that whole wall a cohesive look. It will also make your curtains too short, so you can either add a panel to the bottom to lengthen them, or replace them entirely. The light sheer color is nice, no need to change to something dramatically different.

Right now, it looks wrong. Simply raise your rods and hang 95" panels. This will balance the heights.

I agree with Barnhart Gallery. The mirror is too large for the space between the windows. Move it to the blank wall and hang it horizontal. I would do a set of four pictures for the space between the windows, maybe something organic like ferns. They would bring the green and cream color into your room that would coordinate with your current window coverings.

Your rods are too low and the panels are not substantial enough to compliment the paneling or the height of the windows.
