I am remodeling our living room and only have a few more things to fix

I need help with ideas about replacing a counter and bar stools. I am not sure if I want a granite, wood, etc. counter with bar stools. I am replacing a counter that went all the way on both sides with one that would just appear on one side of the wall...or other suggestions on the space.
