It just occurred to me that today I could ask for the last 365 days of rainfall and, until midnight or possibly 8 a.m. (I don't remember when the maps update) we'd see 2017's rainfall. So, here it is in inches:

If you view this after today, at some point (don't know if it is midnight or 8 a.m.) it will drop the oldest day and pick up the newest day and not be a 100% accurate representation of 2017.
