Yes leave the leaves on. Without them the plant can't make next years blooms.

another thing I have seen here is that many do not replant their bulbs in the garden and then take them out etc. you can leave your bulb in a pot over the summer outside and then bring it in in the fall ( with some drying time etc . Some people cut the leaves at this time in the fall too) - you can find many threads on this on the board. That will help with not needing to repot it after digging it up from outside.

Many people have pots of these bulbs that do not get disturbed over multiple years .....

please note I am new to amaryllis so take everything I say with a grain of salt and do your own research :-)

Thank you so much. It's planted in a glass container with stones - if I leave it, I should feed it once in a while, I imagine.
