I've never heard of it either. I would think that replacing entirely would hold up better just because it's a solid surface, but I'm curious to hear what you discover.

I just Googled Granite Overlays and found information both favorable and not on a few companies. I have not checked out the pricing, but many comments seem to indicate that less expensive Granite is not much more than doing the overylay. Does anyone have expierience in Granite overlays and does the product look like granite?
