Rose Bouquet leaves

Did I plant too deep? Watching utube tonight on propagation, it meantioned the babies can be buried. So I checked. One leaf came out easily but I do see tiny roots. The other was stuck. The pot was a 4 inch with probably 3.5 inches of posting soil. Is it focusing on roots not babies? Should I repot?

I would leave them alone.

What causes plantlets to be buried is cutting the stems too long.

The stems should be cut about an inch long ...

They were, I think. There were so many broken. Some I tried to make a stem for by cutting the leaf. U don’t think soil is too deep for babies?

Cheryl, you don't have to "make" a stem. I have planted many leaves with NO stem. All I do is cut a small slant cut (like we always do) on the end of what would have been a stem and plant it in the soil. Not very far down. It will root and have babies! Rosie
