How do you know the keyholes are fake? But I have never seen an antique pine case piece made with so many knot holes....me thinks it's "wannabe"....ask to see what the dove tails look like, and the back.

Are those key holes in the right place? Something doesn't look right. I thought at first it was drawers from some other piece put into this frame but the side panels look like the drawer fronts... That trim on the edges doesn't look like it would go with the rest of the dresser. Or something.

European, stripped pine, brought over here by the container load...

It does have some age, a hundred years or so, but that's about all I can say for it.

I have a feeling that the author of the description was misinformed or was just plain lying about the original $800 price tag!

When I enlarge the picture, the keyholes on the two smaller drawers and the first larger drawer have wood behind them.

Does 100.00 seem reasonable, provided the drawer slide well?
