What you can do. First - leach the plants - in a sink with a lukewarm water running through the soil until the water from the bottom runs clear Let them sit and dry up. You probably need to wait until the soil dries up a bit too. You got rid of a good amount of fertilizer salts.

Pop the plant out of the pot. Remove flowers, suckers, 1-2-3 bottom rows of older tired leaves - you decide how many - usually older leaves have light, kind of waxy leaf stalks. Lightly scrape the soil from the top and sides. Now you decide what pot to use, Are you going to use the same size pot - or you need a bigger pot? Compare your pot with your root ball - you have a neck - you need to get it buried, Take the knife - and slice off a bottom of your root ball - as much as you need, You need to have half an inch of of fresh soil on the bottom - your rootball - and fresh soil up to the rim enough to cover the neck almost up to the last row of leaf stalks, Do not press the soil - just may be tap a pot a bit to let it settle,

Give it a light drink from the bottom. Keep it on a dry side, depending how much you sliced off - you can drape it with a light plastic for a week to help to recover.

Repeat on the rest of your collection.

Can you leach plants with tap water when it's city water that's chlorinated?

I wasn't sure so the few minis I have done in the past was in the kitchen sink, running tepid water from my PUR filter. But the stream from that is just little more forceful than a slight trickle. And for washing the leaves which needs to be done sometime, I prefer the hand sprayer though that has the unfiltered chlorinated water.
