My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    It is has no stain and was finished with a glossy water based polyurethane. However, on current jobs we apply a thicker coat of 2-part epoxy to reduce the amount of time needed to prepare the paralam beam for finish. The epoxy is more expensive than polyurethane, but the labor time saved can reduce the overall project cost fairly significantly.
