Killer --very nice last year, with more buds than usual

King of the Ages --pictures tend to exaggerate its brightness
King George--huge. Not a favorite, but produces well.
    Kingdom Without End --very nice
Kisses Like Wine --especially nice last year
Kansas City Kicker --would like a warmer climate, but grows
Krakatoa Lava --later one. Still here.

Katherine Marin --very nice, but not a fast multiplier and bud count is so-so.

    Kiss My Aura --newer
    King Kahuna

No K's here either. Mantis: Katherine Marin is one that takes such a pretty picture. I've always liked it. Kingdom Without End is a runner up.........Maryl

KATHRYN'S BLACK (tall, lots of buds and great dark color)

KATHERINE CALDWELL (fairly new in my garden but has performed very well)

Here it is beside Marietta Warrior

    KING KAHUNA

KATRINA HEROES (sent this one to Nancy in Kentucky....hope it's happier there. It was a great plant, just not a great bloom....had trouble opening in my cool temps. Plant clumped up quickly and was very vigorous. This was one of the few that opened correctly)

Here are the K's that I grow:

KANSAS KITTEN: Nice dark bloom. Does better with afternoon shade.

Kindly Light (My children call it BANANA PEELS)

    KIRSTEN'S CORSAGE

KIWI MAGIC: Fantastic intro from Bud Bennett.

    That is all for me.

Mantis: I used to grow KILLER. I always found it to be top branched with few buds. Thanks for the info on KANSAS CITY KICKER. It has been on my list, but I think I will pass on it.

Celeste: KAZOO looks rather interesting. I may have to look that one up.

    Thanks for looking.

Key West --an older Trimmer; not a large flower.

Yes, Killer some years has quite low bud count. Last year was a different year for many plants.

We are not sure if Karelia likes our winters, but we really like the veining in the eye.

Kelsey McGhee is relatively new to the garden.

Kennesaw Horizon is untested in the winter here. We have been growing it in the greenhouse.

Key West Sunset is new to the garden.

Keystone Fangs a Lot is a small plant, but the flower has nice teeth.

We hope this winter is not too much for Kiss of Paradise.

Krakatoa Katie is one of our new 2018 intros.

Nancy, I like your intro Krakatoa Katie! Signet, I would have brought Kaput home with me!

Mantis - always like your descriptions. "Still here..." gave me a chuckle. And I'm in agreement about Kingdom Without End. I'm also much taken by Celeste's King of Masks, David's Kansas Kitten - what an interesting color, Signet's and Celeste's King George, and Nancy's Karelia and Kiss of Paradise - Nancy, hope they both survive this almost-past frigid winter. Was in the 40's here today, but fortunately my little patch of fall-planted daylilies are still frozen under the snowy straw.

Debbie, please post doubles when you can. It is interesting to see how plants behave in different places!

I'm with Sherry about people posting their doubles. This is all new to me and seeing how a particular plant varies from one locale to another is helpful.

There is definitely an advantage to seeing images of the same plant from various locations . I am able to better know if a plant will do well here . The more widespread the plant is , the more likely it will do well what ever the conditions here .

Sherry, I have alot that others have, but OK, I will post the doubles from now on, because Sherry told me to!! lol

Nancy, Krakatoa Katie is very nice. Lots of interesting K's everyone. Here are some from me.

KALEIDOSCOPE JUNGLE CAT in a clump

    and as a poly

    KANSAS KITTEN

    KAREN LEIGH

    KATISUE HERRINGTON

    KINGDOM BOUND

KISSED IN THE DARK - fragrant, 5 branches and 20-25 buds, some rebloom

This is Roy Woodhall's pic of Kissed in the Dark (with permission having been given). It never looks like this for me, but it's a great plant anyway.

That's it for me - very few K daylilies.

Brad , love love love your clump shot of Karen's Curls .....how wonderful! What a glorious mass of blooms ! I think seeing that picture I will focus more on clump shots this year . Seems I am always trying to get a good individual shot and forget to take pictures of clumps of daylilies .

Signet, are those true colors on Kaput? If so, those are stunning and I’m going to have to find one!

Oursteelers , yes as it grows in my garden those colors are true . I would assume like any other daylily differences are possible due to soil composition and minerals found in the soil . The image on the AHS shows a paler bloom but mine is not pale like that , it is the colors you see in the image . I checked the info on my photo and the image was created at ‎August ‎18, ‏‎8:59:22 AM so ambient lightwould also be a factor .

Signet - Kaput is a gorgeous color, and I always make the effort myself to show color accurately, so that I have the image for myself as well for future.

Alex, I also find that my images are much better since I started to use my cell phone to take the pictures. The camera I had was older and I dont know that it had all the bells and whistles that my Iphone seems to have . I find the phone shows the colors much better than the camera ever did .

Signet - I keep hearing good things (and seeing them) about the cameras built into the new phones. I have yet to buy one; still using my old style flip phone. Maybe some day, but I think it will be awhile before I prefer it over my Nikon 3300 for taking photos. Though there's no denying it's probably less work. :)
