How does an Alta Woven Shade compare to a Hunter Douglas woven shade?

I am shopping for light filtering woven wood/grass weave shades to cover 2 large windows that are surrounded by mid-century wood paneling. Hunter Douglas does not have the exact color and weave we like, but I found "Mali Tan" made by Alta that could work. The company I am working with for a quote sells products from both companies and advised me that Alta (owned by Hunter Douglas) is lesser quality. Has anyone had experience with the quality of Alta woven blinds? Is the difference warranty only?

I just spoke with the person who had placed the original order for our Alta shades (lesser of the H-D shades?) and she said that she wouldn't reorder from them right now. needless to say they are backed up in production and not only was my order delayed but came in all wrong - one with valence, one not, one too short, one too long. I'm ordering H-D shades next just fyi @Shadesbyshane.

am looking at Alta Window Fashions Grass Weaves. Has anyone had experience with the Martinique white wash or Luzon whisper colors?

Any pictures installed of the Alta Wood Shades. I am trying to decide What type of window treatment to go with and wood shades is one of the options I am considering.

My Alta woven shades were installed (May 2018) and I am very happy with them. I had a positive experience with my order - excellent service from one of Alta's dealers in my area and no production delays or quality issues. I was apprehensive at first about not ordering an H-D product, but I wouldn't hesitate to order Alta now. I'm sorry it did not go well for you.

how can I determine whether or not I should order grass shades with valence or not? Def on my backdoor I will use a valence to hide the upper side corner hardware but there are two other windows in our family room. Should I keep it all consistent?
