I have Sally and Bob on my must have list--it's gorgeous. GaryZ, how old is your plant? Just got Seducer late last summer--hope that it does well. I've got Striptease in 3 locations--it grows so fast. i bought Steve Moldovan 3 years ago but I will have to move it since it hasn't grown at all--we met Steve when we got some daylilies from him. Also have Sagae, Stiletto and Snake Eyes.

Thanks sandyslopes :) I got Satisfaction new last year, but haven't decided yet if I like it enough to keep it. Well that's assuming that it survives the winter fine since it's one of the few I left outside in their pots (and haven't watered / messed with at all). It did have multiple eyes already when I got it, but the leaves still had a ways to go/mature and it wasn't standing out a whole lot...but obviously enough to (hopefully) have stayed at least for another year.

Those Seducers are doing a pretty good job here! LOL

sandyslopes..my Blue Mouse Ears IS smaller than the hosta in your pic but I've seen some BME pics that were bigger than mine so I thought hmm could be??..Blue Jay is pretty..

Sherry.....that Hosta has lived in that barrel for perhaps 5 years....I do nothing to help it through the winter, although the barrel is old and has enough gaps between the staves to avoid water pooling there. I also have an Antioch that has been in its barrel for perhaps 15 years with no special care. I can’t even remember what I put in there for planting medium! Some fresh compost every spring. Just lucky I guess.

popmama..I liked that pic too..I see a hosta seedling in the Stained Glass pic near the bottom left corner..could be more..the other plants are tiny and I can't tell..my husband laughs because I'm so excited when I find teeny weeny plants..

No, no seedling there. Just a weed. But I did notice that in the upper left corner is one of the other Stained Glass I have. They were on sale at a big box store so I have three of them. One of them lives in a concrete planter with no bottom. I took a chance doing that only because I have two others. :-)

Sagae---before its repot. It was in a buried pot. On the side you can see roots coming out of the drainage holes---which are tree roots. I decided to put it in a spin out bag instead.

What beautiful plants the "S's" are. I love the Stag's Leap which I had never heard of before. I failed with St. Elmo's Fire twice. The one above is the nicest one I've ever seen.

your Snowden looks wonderful. S&S seems to be readily sporting. The list of progenies in the HL is long. Mine had a fine green line in the middle of one eye's leaf. 4 leaves in total, lol, it is still young, but I hope it comes back. My Spartacus also had a little sunburn so I need to find a better place for it. I will work with Don Rawson's list of sun tolerant hostas this year and rearrange the pots and built new groups.

I really hope this is going to be a better hosta year!

Thanks Karin, Your Snowden looks great too, it has become one of my favorites and its a great fast grower too. My S&S sport I found in a garden centre among its plain brethren, it is yet to be seen if it is anything unique or different, it is special because it is mine lol and so is yours which sounds more interesting, I hope it comes back for you.
