Thanks for replying! The house is 20 years old. I will be having 2 people coming with me that have a decent knowledge of this kind of stuff. I just think it’s strange that every single faucet is leaking. Someone mentioned that the water pressure can be too high also?

A water pressure problem is unlikely to have that symptom. Some people don't have the interest or skills to maintain their homes at all and have a lot of little things that go wrong and never get fixed. I have friends who are smart and professionally accomplished, and have nice homes that are slowly deteriorating. They wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to use if they had one, so they are planning to call a handyman in, but it's always going to be "next week." Every time I visit I'm attaching a refrigerator handle, or a cabinet door that fell off, or hanging something on the wall.

Good to know! Based on the pictures of the house all of the faucets look very new and definitely not cheap looking. So if it is a seal can that just be replaced without replacing the whole faucet?

I know we we will also have to worry about the pipes in the house because there hasn’t been heat on. It looks like they did a good job with winterizing it. But if there was a problem with the pipes, could the leaking faucets be a symptom of it?

If there was a problem with the pipes -- like from freezing -- there could be leaks...but likely in other places than the faucet seals. I'll admit that it's odd for all of them to be leaking, but I'm still inclined to think it's not a sign of anything hugely wrong. If you can bring a wrench and have permission, it would be good if you could turn the water to the house on temporarily to look for evidence of leaking other than the faucets. (But be aware that they could have all the taps wide open, so you should quickly check that to make sure you don't flood something.)

Yes, you can always pull the seals from a faucet and replace or refurbish. There are kits readily available to do just that, If these are newer faucets, they should have ceramic seals, which hold up for a very long time. Even if they look new they could be older than you think, or be of really low quality, and it might make sense to replace them entirely.

Deeewed,the water is off because the house is winterized. How would the realtor know anything about leaky facuets? If it worry's you,put a stipulation in contract that sale is pending a complete plumbing test. There are things that simply can not be answered on the net. This is one of them.

This does not sound like a money pit er— house that you need to be looking at if you aren’t comfortable diagnosing and repairing things a lot worse than leaky faucets.
