Window is off-center

I need window treatments in my master bedroom on the main window and 2 separated single French doors. I have been stumped because of ceiling beams and a fireplace that are centered with each other--and a window that is off-center between the beams. The window wall is the only option for the king-sized bed, and it is currently centered under the window. This all creates symmetry issues!! When we moved in,there was a cornice built around the bed that we removed. Then I used valances. I just need help.

What is your style? Is privacy and light control a big concern? How big are the windows?

My style is primarily Traditional. Light control is a bigger concern than privacy, the windows face west.

The window is partially covered by the bed, so plantation shutters--while awesome!-- would be wrong because they would not be opened, other than the slats.

I think to keep a traditional look, and when there is no need for privacy you should consider drapes. That is not my area of expertise, I am a blinds & shades guy. So, I will let the designers help you with that. Be sure to get some pictures up here. Most people will not even suggest anything unless they have a picture to refer to.

You might try a shade with a top down bottom up feature so it doesn't have to pass your bed every time you open it. We have that option on our cellular (honeyvcomb) shades with cords and without.
