Does anyone have an ideas on how to repair this? We bought this limestone Fireplace as a kit about 20 years ago, the company is no longer around. I’ve tried several stone companies without luck... any ideas would be appreciated. It is French limestone.

I’d replace it with a creamy, highly veined marble. I would like the contrast.

The break occurred because that piece was not installed properly. The entire piece should have been "buttered" on the back and a metal support installed under the front bottom edge. Beautiful fireplace, take the time to find the correct matching stone AND a Pro stone mason.

It cracked because of the placement of the vein it will always crack especially in this area
