My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Pass through window.

I would like to create a pass-through window like this at my beach house, ideally with the same granite used for kitchen countertops run through it and extended to the exterior pull-up bar. Thanks for pella door details. Does it have screens? What would keep the rain out when the north wind is blowing 40 knots? How did you compensate for the shortage of wall cabinet storage when 6' is dedicated to this pass through? Any other practical information you can share?

    The door came form Pella (woodardpl@pella.com). It is 4x8 and it is sealed with a garage door seal I bought at Lowes. The gas springs came from http://www.lstechnologies.ca/. I have a gate latch that attaches to the door and into my countertops with pad locks to keep door secure.

      The pass through window is a 4X8 Pella door. We got the lift supports from http://www.lstechnologies.ca/. We called them and told them the approx weight and size and they made us what we needed. After installed we needed them adjusted so we took pictures of the door open and sent the lifts and pictures back to them and from that they were able to make the exact adjustments. I would contact a rep to work you through your individual project needs.

      I contacted LS technologies. They are awesome to deal with. Called several times and sent several pictures to make sure we had everything. It's worth the phone call to get it right!
