I was given a large citrus, probably grapefruit, in a pot. I transplanted it into a larger pot, put in an easy window, watered regularly and used Miracle Grow. It is doing very well, but the new leaves are twice the size of the old one so it looks strange. Could I prune out much of the old leaves and hope that new larger leaves take their place? I live in Ontario Canada and expect to keep the plant indoors.
