Yes. Multiple times. It's not hard to grow, but it can be difficult to geminate. The secret is winter sowing.

It could be that I am too vigilant so as to avoid "weeds" (pulling out seedlings instead), but I can't say that it's reseeded. I have clay soil and it is in blazing hot sun. That too may matter. It's worth the winter sowing effort.

I do mean that. It may not be too late. Where are you located? Do you have any below freezing temps left? I'm in zone 6B/7A and we have about 20 or so below freezing days left. I'd think there was time left for me. As an example.

Yep, agree with Rob - it can be tricky to germinate as it will do so very sporadically, spread over a period of several months. Definitely needs stratification...but a 4 week fridge session ought to do it. Once germinated, it grows like Topsy, to quite astonishing heights.
