Does strand bamboo flooring board width matter?

I am thinking of putting strand bamboo just about everywhere...kitchen, living room, etc. When it comes to board width, are there other concerns besides liking how it looks? Anyone out there willing to share their experiences on their strand bamboo floor (pros or cons)? Do you steam mop it?

I really really wanted strand bamboo but there were just too many complaints when I started reading about it. I still want to try it but maybe in a smaller space and NOT everywhere--just too expensive to replace if it doesn't work. See http://bambooflooringreviews.org/?p=56 for example.
