Yep Ingrida, that appears to be an albino spider. I see them once in awhile. They like to hide under the petals.

Beth--just love all your "lavenders"--you have so many! Also liked those petal edges on Sandra and the two-toned Solitude. Tell me about Spirit of Peace--relative of Peace? How does it do in the garden?

Sara-Ann--what a wonderful pic of SDLM! Just perfect. Also like the pics of Shelia's Perfume you and Ken posted. And Ken, yes, you must get another Sunstruck--that is a gorgeous pic also!

Kate, SPIRIT OF PEACE apparently is a child of PRISTINE and a seedling. I almost lost it in the septic tank dig up a few yrs ago. But it took off like a weed once I replanted it. Only problem is, there are weeds and blackberry in that bed now. I need to get in there and clean it out. Despite the overgrowth, it does a few good bloomings per yr. I love the coloring. If I remember correctly, I think it was one of those J&P roses they offered one time only. I didn't buy it from them tho, I got it from Steve Singer at Wisconsin Roses. I dunno if he has it anymore or not.

What a color!

I can add a few to the list. The posting is not quite working right for me, but the first picture is a rare bloom on Silver Spoon.

Next is a spray on Signature.

The next one is what happens when I don't get Sir Edward Elgar pruned down in time in the spring. It is a giant mass of bright pink flowers, and it repeats all season with plenty of them.

The next one is Souvenir du Alphonse Lavallee, hybrid perpetual that has never rebloomed for me and is very prone to blackspot.

The next one is one that doesn't get posted much. It is a bloom on Sunsation, also known as Veldfire.

The last one is a nice flower on Sunshine Daydream.

Wow Bustopher, that SUNSHINE DAYDREAM is gorgeous! That's the best photo I've ever seen of this rose. Based on all the ones I have seen, I've never been interested in it. You need to get this photo on HMF!
