Make sure it borders grass that you can mow. Nothing else will stop them.

I used to till between narrow rows...too much work, got rid of, now I planted new ones with rows further apart for mowing.

I grow my raspberries( 10 varieties) in containers and do not have any problems.

I also grow mine in containers, 20-25 gallon fabric grow bags and have had no problems other than prematurely breaking dormancy.

Keren does not have their growing zone in their name. Year round storage of container grown plants won't fly in zone 3/4 thus our advice to mow.

Sure warmer zones offer other options but not necessarily to scale if they want big rows.
