The first glaring issue I see is the size of your nook and. The absolute minimum width there should be 9 feet and the refrigerator wall is going to create a very annoying pinch point. We had a dining area similar to this in our previous house, but instead of the fridge protruding it was a staircase.

Do you need a nook, counter seating AND a dining room?

The pinch point between the corner of the island and the corner into the nook should be a minimum 48 inches.

The fridge (and probably your microwave) should be on the short, hall wall.

Is the cabinet to the left of the sink (marked with a question mark) just additional counter space and upper cabinet?

Here are some drawings to give you a basic idea of what the kitchen might look like. I think the island looks too small, but that's the maximum size it can be. Also, note how the nook is disproportionate to a narrow, 33" wide table; to get a long enough table to comfortably seat 4 you've got a narrow pinch point at the counter.

Thank you for the helpful comments and considerations. Yes, the cabinet to the left of the sink is just additional storage and clear counter space. I like the idea of extending the bar and getting rid of that wall.

I appreciate the drawings to help visualize. I can easily extend the nook to 9' to better fit a table.
