Yes....men do that often!, lol! The center of your pictures should be about 63” from the floor...or eye level whichever your are more comfortable with.

Hire someone to patch it and let hubby pay for it. Give him this handy little "rule" if he still wants to "hang 'em high." 5-5-75 = centered 5' above the floor, or bottom frame 5" above furniture and piece or grouping should be no wider than 75% of the furniture's with that it hangs above.

Yes, way too high. If you dont want to move it and patch try moving as low as possible without showing the original hole then put a photo shelf below and layer a few smaller pics or objects or just hang two other smaller pics to create a grouping. This will balance it out

Look for the Command adhesive picture hanging velcro. Super easy to use and no walls to patch if you have to move something. It fits nicely on the wall, but it's simply too high to appreciate it. You might have him lower the clock as well while you're at it ;0

How many holes does it take so the husband can hang a picture? LOL!

If it is just a nail hole, that’s not a big deal to patch. I have used a toothpick and white toothpaste to fill it, the dry end of the toothpick to smooth it a bit. Using a Q-tip, dip it into the paint, sparingly, and just dab the the dried toothpaste.

Looks better with the two and for heavens sake lose the clock altogether and hang another piece of art there.

Learn to patch it yourself...easy and a great skill too have. Who wants to wait for DH when you're feeling creative? All you need is a little container of spackling compound and a dab of paint!
