Given the historical piece, it could be nice to put something sentimental related to the piano's history. Perhaps you have old family black and white portraits of the family members who originally had the piano? If not, a portrait oriented artwork perhaps related to the family members who originally had the piano -- like where they grew up or where you have family history. Just some ideas -- good luck!

Why did you post this twice, now you have to look at both posts.

I'd say a mirror (opens up the room) or some kind of large framed art piece (light in color, not too busy), something that comes just shy of the width of the piano and is rectangular (goes high on the wall). The 2 lamps are too short, you need something taller. The symmetry on the piano looks too forced, too many things there. Perhaps a couple of framed family photos instead, different heights.

In my opinion the globe doesn't work on a piano. Do you have a metronome?

I also like the idea of something on the floor next to the piano. Decorative, one side only. (I lean towards asymmetry as my preferred style of balance :)

Is that a door bell high on the wall? Can it be relocated?

Clear the top off and a large piece of art. A mirror will only work if what is reflected in it is worth looking at twice

I agree with everything removed save a piano light and metronome. Then art centered about it.
