Where are you located? In temperate climates, crocus and daffs are planted in fall for spring blooms. If you are in a cold winter climate, freesia and sparaxis are planted after last frost for summer blooms - they generally will not survive freezing winter temperatures.

Crocuses appear first in my garden.....they have been blooming for the last few weeks. Then they are followed by the earliest daffs - the rest of the crew will be a few weeks later. Sparaxis and freesia bloom here in early to mid summer.
