These were moved into genus Dockrillia but then later back to Dendrobium. One of their common names is Rat's Tail Orchid but most people prefer Pencil Orchid. Somewhere I have photos of it in habitat cascading from branches of trees, it does make quite a sight. If you let yours go it will become a huge clump.
