In the middle of of a remodel and we have a tricky situation with doors/ walkways at multiple heights in the same view. The entry to the home door is standard 6'8" height. The crown molding framed entrance is at 8' - we plan to add French doors and make it a study. The French doors would also have to be at 6'8" to match entry and other doors in this formal entry and living room. If I do this, however, I am left with the walkway entrance to the rest of the house at a really different height - it is close to 10'. We like this high opening of the walkway. But feel it would look really odd with that next to 6'8" doors. Is dropping the walkway ceiling also to 6'8" my only option? Stuck and any creative solutions greatly appreciated
